Garten House is located just off the A95, approximately ½ mile past the hamlet of Drumuillie, midway between Aviemore and Grantown-on-Spey. A private road leads up the hill to a quiet and tranquil location while the River Spey and Strathspey Steam Railway run past the bottom of the road. The farmhouse is situated on a working sheep farm and while dogs are welcome, guests are asked to ensure that they are kept under control at all times. 4x4 vehicles are advisable when there is ice and snow.
